Flowable fill is a self-leveling, self-compacting material — excellent for backfilling underground utilities and infrastructure. Because it is placed quickly and is self-leveling, it can reduce the amount of time and labor needed to backfill. Flowable fill exceeds the strength of other granular fills but is not so strong that it cannot be excavated in the future.
